Is SnapQio free, or is it a trial?
SnapQio's free plan is free forever — unlimited screenshots at the highest quality, the complete annotation editor, and sharing, with no watermark and no account. Screen recording is the only limited feature: free recordings are 15-second previews at standard quality. Pro removes the limits.
Do free screenshots have a watermark?
No, never. SnapQio does not watermark anything — free screenshots are pixel-perfect lossless PNGs. We gate recording length instead of defacing your work.
What does the $99.99 lifetime license include?
Everything in Pro, forever: unlimited recording length, Ultra quality at 60 FPS, GIF export, unlimited OCR and scrolling capture, all Beautify presets — including all future updates and features. It is a pay-once license, not a version-locked purchase.
How many PCs can I use one license on?
One Pro license activates SnapQio on up to 2 of your own Windows PCs, for example your desktop and your laptop. You can deactivate a machine anytime to free the seat.
Does SnapQio work offline?
Yes. Capture, editing, OCR and recording all run locally on your PC. Internet is only needed to activate a Pro license and to download updates.
What is the refund policy?
All sales are final — we don't offer a general money-back guarantee. Instead, the free plan is a full, unlimited-time trial: test every screenshot feature and preview recording before you pay. Subscriptions can be cancelled anytime to stop future charges. Any refund rights granted by mandatory consumer law are unaffected.
Where do my screenshots and recordings go?
They stay on your PC. SnapQio is local-first: no mandatory cloud, no account, no telemetry, and nothing is uploaded unless you explicitly click Share. OCR runs on-device using Windows' built-in engine.
How is SnapQio different from Snagit?
