Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Magnus ZGR ("Magnus ZGR", "we", "us") governing your use of the SnapQio desktop application ("the App"), the website at https://snapqio.com ("the Site"), and any paid upgrade ("SnapQio Pro").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, or by purchasing SnapQio Pro, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App or the Site.

1. The software

SnapQio is a Windows application developed and published by Magnus ZGR for capturing screenshots, annotating them, and recording the screen.

2. License to use

Subject to these Terms, Magnus ZGR grants you a personal, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for personal or internal business purposes.

SnapQio Pro unlocks additional features (such as unlimited-length, highest-quality recording, GIF export, unlimited OCR and scrolling capture). Pro is licensed per the plan you purchase (monthly, yearly, or lifetime — see Section 3) and is activated with a license key.

You may not:

  • resell, rent, sublicense, or redistribute the App or a license key;
  • remove or alter any proprietary notices;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits despite this limitation;
  • use the App to infringe others' rights or to break the law.

The App is licensed, not sold. Magnus ZGR retains all rights not expressly granted.

3. Purchases, plans, license keys & refunds

  • SnapQio Pro is available in three plans (prices as shown at checkout):
  • Pro Monthly — currently $9.99 per month, a subscription that renews automatically each month until cancelled;
  • Pro Yearly — currently $59.99 per year, a subscription that renews automatically each year until cancelled;
  • Pro Lifetime — currently $99.99 one-time, a perpetual license including future updates to SnapQio for the life of the product.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel anytime from the license-management link in your purchase email (or by contacting us); your Pro features remain active until the end of the paid period, after which the App reverts to the free plan. Nothing you created is lost.
  • One Pro license may be activated on up to 2 of your own Windows PCs at the same time; you can deactivate a machine to free the seat.
  • Payments and license delivery are handled by our payment provider, acting as merchant of record. Your purchase is also subject to their terms.
  • After purchase, your license key is delivered by email. Keep it safe; it identifies your license.
  • Refunds: All sales are final. We do not offer a general money-back guarantee — the free plan serves as an unlimited-time trial so you can fully evaluate SnapQio before purchasing. By purchasing, you request immediate delivery of the license key and acknowledge that, where permitted, your statutory withdrawal right ends once delivery is complete. Refunds are provided only where required by mandatory applicable consumer-protection law. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals at any time.

4. Third-party software

The App bundles FFmpeg for screen recording. FFmpeg is licensed under the GPL/LGPL; its license and source availability information are provided with the App and/or at https://ffmpeg.org. Your use of such components is also subject to their licenses.

5. Acceptable use

You are responsible for what you capture, record, and share using the App, and for complying with all applicable laws (including privacy, recording-consent, and intellectual-property laws) in your jurisdiction.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

THE APP, SITE, AND SNAPQIO PRO ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your requirements. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory statutory rights you have as a consumer.

7. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MAGNUS ZGR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, SITE, OR SNAPQIO PRO. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR SNAPQIO PRO IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8. Termination

These Terms apply for as long as you use the App. We may suspend or terminate your license if you materially breach these Terms. On termination, you must stop using and remove the App. Sections that by their nature should survive (e.g., 6, 7, 9) will survive.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria and the European Union, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Bulgaria will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
